It’s official: Viandante del Cielo winery is an integral part of our portfolio. Elegant, efficient and nestled into the hillside for minimal visual impact and maximum winemaking efficiency, Viandante del Cielo’s state-of-the-art winery was completed just before the 2020 harvest. The company owns 24 hectares on the northern shore of Lake Trasimeno in Umbria, more precisely in Passignano.
The commitment and passion for sustainability that Viandante del Cielo shows in the vineyard also extends to the cellar: the partially underground position of the hill protects it from diurnal temperature changes and helps to reduce energy consumption. The winery produces three wines: two reds and one white. Both red wines, Viandante and Pristinvm, ferment in tulip-shaped concrete tanks which are undoubtedly the most eye-catching feature of the project.
The fundamental values underlying the philosophy of Viandante del Cielo are the production of fine wines of exceptional character, the dedication to absolute exclusivity, the obsessive pleasure in bringing out the best of unique terroirs and a passionate respect for the environment.
